What Is A Good Business To Start For Little Money?
One of the most common questions I see online is “What Is A Good Business To Start For Little Money?”. When I do research on that question online, I find that I can never find any information on cheap business ideas. Instead, I find people just in it for their own good pitching stupid products that will never make you any money.
I brainstormed a few ideas and came up with a few you should check out if you have next to no capital when starting a business. Keep in mind that some of these businesses will require some knowledge on the subject but others will require no skill level at all. Here they are –
Tutoring- Were you good at a subject as a child in school? Open up a simple tutoring program after school for kids. Offer your services for a particular price. Place flyer’s all over the school and surrounding area. At $25/hour for 4 hours a day, it’s a nice weekly pay. Keep adding kids and you’ll grow in no time!
Fitness Training – Are you into fitness training or anything healthy? Millions of Americans every day are screaming for someone to help them with their diets and exercise. This idea is fairly simple. Post some ads, get some clients to come to your place or go to theirs. Charge them by the hour. Once you get enough capital, you could possibly earn enough to open up your own gym.
Web Design- This will require a lot of skill but if you have the skills to create great websites, start offering your services to mom and pop shops. If you do a good enough job, your services will spread, trust me on this one. Once you get a nice client base, start spreading out to consulting, marketing, etc. This is a nice business to start because it only requires a computer and Internet connection.
Publishing / Printing – Are you good at creating brochures or designing business cards, etc? If you have the skills to create graphics and you can afford a printing press, start a small place in your garage and offer your services to local companies. Offer free examples and see where that goes.
Photography – Do you like taking pictures? Why not open up a small photo shop where you can set up little scenes or you can take people to particular destinations. Photography places are huge with graduates from high school, babies, and so much more.
Catering – If you like to cook but you don’t want to open up your own restaurant, try and think of some catering ideas. Instead of them coming to you, you can go to them. Think of ways to advertise, offer free samples and more. If your food is good enough, the word will spread.
Wedding planner- We all know that many women in this world are obsessed with weddings. If you’re good enough or you know a lot about them, you could help others looking to get married. A wedding planner really doesn’t need much and the people can come to you. You can help them with everything from photos to the wedding cake.
Cleaning service- Cleaning services are a great start up if you’re looking to buy next to nothing when it comes to supplies. Think of all the places out there that need their business cleaned. Even if you make $100 a building. Do one a day for 5 days and you’re at $500.
There are so many ideas when it comes to creating a business when you have next to no money. Look at your skills and see if you can capitalize on them. If you like to jewelry, see if there’s a market. Honestly, there’s a market for everything! The harder you work, the more you make. Go out there, take action and make your business succeed.
