What to look for in an advertising agency
First off, just because the company you’re working with isn’t in the top 25 list doesn’t mean that you’re going to be dealing with a company that isn’t going to work for you.
I wanted to list a few questions that you should ask when you’re ready to hire a company to help manage your advertising campaigns. By asking these questions and studying your competition, you’re going to find that you will more than likely make a great choice.
What are your goals? Write down your goals so that the agency knows. You will want to have an outlook on your future. Do you want to double your customer base? Do you want to increase brand awareness?
How does the pricing work? Do you prefer to pay a flat fee, or do you want to pay a part of your commissions on sales? Every agency is going to work differently, so this is something that you’re going to have to think about.
Why do you like this agency? Let’s say that you find a company that you want to work with. What you want to do is sit back and think about why you’re picking them. Do you want them because of reviews? Do you like the message they are portraying, etc?
Look at what they have done in the past. Like many other people that you would potentially hire, you would want to see what they can do for you. Look for examples that they have used in the past. How did they help company A?
The more you know about the company, the better it is going to be for your business. I would recommend that you head out and interview around 3 – 5 people. By doing so, you’re going to find that you can get a company that works the best for you.
