Top 3 Fax Machines for Small Business

When running a small business, I think the fax machine is probably one of the most important pieces of technology that you can own.  When you generally do business with just about anyone, you may find yourself either faxing important documents to them or vice versa where they want to send you something.  A fax machine is a great way to send documents within a second.  From signed contracts to a picture, a fax machine is a quick and easy solution to send any type of document.

With so many fax machines on the market, I did some research on some shopping sites and came up with what I thought were the top three fax machines on the market for small businesses.  The factors I considered were price, functions, and reviews from other consumers.  Here’s the top three fax machines for small businesses:

Brother MFC-7840W
Price Range:  $250-$350

The Brother MFC-7840W was by far one of the most popular fax machines on the market.  Not only does it have the faxing capabilities, it also does many other things such as copying, scanning, printing, and more.  This is great if you’re looking for a device that does more than just faxes.  The greatest feature I think this fax machine has is that it prints 23 pages per minutes and scans at a 19200 x 19200 dpi resolution.  If that’s not enough, it also contains a built-in 802.11b/g wireless adapter for easy office sharing.

HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One
Price Range:  $100-$200

If you’re looking for a cheaper printer that does just as much as the Brother mentioned above, you may want to consider the HP Officejet 6310.  This All-in-One package prints, scans, faxes, and copies anything you can think of.  It prints up to 30 pages per minute and prints at a crisp and clear 1,200 dpi black and white.  The thing that most consumers like about this machine is that it’s fairly quiet and doesn’t have a lot of paper jam.  It’s great for those looking for an easy install and someone concerned about reliability.

Canon Pixma MP530
Price Range:  $100-$200

The Canon Pixma MP530 is the cheapest out of the three but it does just as much.  If you’re familiar with the Canon brand, I would recommend you check it out.  If not, I’ll tell you a little bit about it.  These particular printer will print, copy, scan, and fax.  It can print up to 29 pages per minute and can also store up to 150 faxes with its built in memory.  The nice thing about this fax machine is that it’s the smallest out of the three and is also very quiet.  If you’re too worried about spending, definitely look into this one!

If you’re in the market for a fax machine, I highly recommend you look into a all in one printer based machine like the ones I mentioned above.  You’re going to get more for your money and it’s going to do everything for you.  If you just want a fax machine by itself, you’re looking at the same price but you’re going to get a lot less.  With some many fax machines on the market, make sure you do your research before investing into one.
