The Benefits of Specialty Advertising

As we all know, advertising is very important when we start our own small businesses.  Advertising not only spreads the word of our business but it also brings in more customers which means more money will be made.  There are many different ways to advertise for your business.  Some popular ideas are television, radio, newspaper ads, magazines, direct mail, etc.  Everyone has their own way of advertising and different advertising ideas work differently for everyone.  It is very important that you find a way that works for your business.  Find a way that will bring in money instead of losing money. 

A popular way to advertise is also by specialty advertising.  Specialty advertising is great because it benefits your business and others.  Simple ideas like making customized mugs, magnets, t-shirts, etc can really help out your business. 

Specialty advertising works because people love to receive gifts that are free and it also is an eye catcher to those who haven’t heard of your business.  They will question “who is this? or what do they do?”  These simple questions will get them interested and will then allow them to keep your business in mind.  Also, the people who have received the gift will also appreciate it and keep it as a reminder.  Someone who gave them a free mug or gift will most likely use their business instead of someone they’ve never heard of.

Specialty advertising is really a great way to spread the word of your business.  Simply get some ideas for what you could pass out, slap your logo on it and pass them out.  You’ll be surprised with how many customers will come due to your advertising techniques.

Find an item you can advertise, one that isn’t too costly and one you can make money off of.  Remember, the whole point is to bring in people and spread the word, so don’t go too far into this and spend more than you should.

Corporate and promotional gifts are a great way to advertise about your company and to reinforce branding in fact according to a research done by The Advertising Specialty Institute 84% of people remember the advertiser on a product they received, so never miss a corporate gifting opportunity, especially not Christmas. That’s why my company is gifting the ipod this Christmas, nothing fancy, they bought them from a local ipod customization store, in these current hard times, its hardly more than a token.
