Who do you want to reach out to? Before you start, you’re going to want to know who you’re going to reach out to.  Do you want to do only weddings?  Do you want to do baby pictures?  or do you want to do just about everything?  There’s nothing wrong with doing everything, but you’ll want to make sure that you don’t put your focus on everything.

Write up that expense sheet - Most photography businesses don’t have a big start up cost like many other businesses.  You’re going to find that it’s relatively in expensive to start up a photography business.  Sure, you’re going to need your camera, and all those goodies, but the props, and everything else is completely up to you.

Join organizations – Find clubs, and organizations in your area.  These are great ways to network with others in your area.  They will be able to give you great tips, and pointers to get you on your way to making lots of money each day.

Starting up a photography business is just like any other business.  Start up a business plan, work hard, and good things will come.
