Small Business Credit Card Offers
As a small business owner, you’re going to find that you’re going to need some funding every once in a while, especially if funds are running short. Now, while I wouldn’t recommend you charge your bills until your heart desires, a small business credit card can help you in more than one way.
Small business credit cards can help you get rewards, pay for things now, so that you don’t have to take cash out of your high interest bank accounts, and more. But, when it comes down to searching for a card, there are a few things that you have to keep in mind, so that you can find the perfect one for your business.
Know the reward system: The main reason that I have my business credit card today is because I want to get rewards. Since I spend a lot of money each month, I just store it on my credit card, and pay it off in full at the end of the month. With this behavior, I’m able to get free airline tickets, food gift cards, and so much more.
Get a reputable card: Never just apply for a card that isn’t known to you. From past experience, you’ll want to apply for a card that has a major company logo. I wouldn’t go with anyone different than Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover. These are all four reputable lenders, and can help your business credit grow.
Ignore the APR: The apr to me is useless if you’re going to pay it off in full each, and every month. If you pay it off in full, and you get into the habit of doing so, you can save hundreds, or even thousands in interest each, and every month. Make sure that you look at rewards first, and the APR last.
Read the fine print: Every card issuer is supposed to tell you by law, what its going to charge you. Look out for any hidden fees, or maintenance charges. A good card will have no fees, and a great reward system. Now, while I don’t frown upon annual fee based cards, there are a lot of great ones out there without a fee.
These are all things that you need to keep in mind when hunting for your small business card. As long as you follow a few of these tips, you should be able to find a great card for your business.
