Quicken Home and Business 2010 Review
Whether you run a small business, or maybe a large one, you’re going to find that accounting is going to be rather expensive. If y0u don’t want to hire out an accountant, and would rather do it yourself, today, I wanted to write a review on “Quicken Home and Business 2010.”
If you’re looking for an accounting package that can both manage your personal, as well as your business finances, this is the package to look at. What you’re going to find with many packages is that you can only work with one thing. For example, you may be able to only work with personal, and not business. This makes it great for those with a small business.
The pros…
- It’s very easy to navigate, making it very easy for those that aren’t a big fan of any type of software, when it comes down to a computer.
- The profit/loss sheet are very easy to read, and are always a click away.
- Great investment strategies. It’s one of the only software packages that I have messed with that will actually show you what you should invest in.
- Lost of bells and whistles.
- Very easy to learn.
The cons…
- The graphical interface seems a little outdated, but again, graphics don’t really matter with a program.
- Some of the buttons are fairly small, making it hard to click.
- If you’re looking to import, many users have found that they have had some troubles with it.
- There are some bugs that still haven’t been addressed.
There are only a handful of programs online that can really do what you want with an accounting package. After reading other user reviews, and getting feedback, I would give this software package a solid 4 / 5 stars.
