Profitable Work From Home Businesses
So, you want to work from home and you have no idea what you want to do? Well, you’re already taking a step that many people don’t do and that’s taking action. What many people tend to do is dream about working from home and when the reality sinks in, it’s not that hard at all! In fact, working from home is great but you’re going to work hard if not harder than a 8-5 job. It takes time and effort.
Now, that I have that off my chest, I’m going to give you a few ideas you can use if you’re looking to make a profitable business straight out of your house.
Start an online shop- It sounds easy as first but it requires a lot of work. The nice thing about it is though you won’t need an actual location and instead of catering to just your local area, you can reach billions and yes, that’s billions with a B. Try and learn about your market, learn about drop shippers, learn how to market online and learn search engine marketing. If you can take the time to learn this, you’ll be in the money!
Start selling on eBay- If you don’t like the idea of starting up your own personal website or store, you can always resort to eBay. Instead of learning how to market online, you can simply find a great drop shipper and make a profit on eBay. Even if you make a $15 profit per item, you only need to sell 100 to make a nice $1500 per month. That’s not bad!
Doing customer service – Do you know many businesses out there will let you work out of the home with no experience? There are many companies out there that will allow you to work as a customer service representative straight from your own home. Here, you’ll answer phones and assist them with any problems they may have.
Cleaning service – If you’re a fan of cleaning, you can either get a few people together or do it by yourself. This is a very easy business to start up and all you will need are some cleaning supplies and a car to get there. Even if you make $100 a house, you only need to clean 4 or 5 houses a week to make a nice $500/week.
Child care – If you love kids, you can look into getting a child care license with your local state. Once you get certified with your state, you can open up a day care in your own home. Here, you’ll just need to open up a room and supply it with a TV, toys and a sleeping area. You can charge $100/week for 3-4 kids and again, this is $400/week.
Tutor kids- If you were a good school student, you may be able to find some kids that need your services. Open up a little tutor shop in your house or meet at the local library. Charge $20 a kid per day and this can add up fairly quick. Even if you’re not the best in some subjects, tutor elementary kids only and you’ll be just fine.
There are so many jobs out there that you can do out of the house. Hopefully, this gives you a few ideas on where to look or start. Remember, I only listed just a handful out of the thousands of opportunities out there. It’s your duty to start looking so you can work from home in the future.
