How to Start a Nanny Business:

  • First of all, you’re going to need a lot of different employees to work with (future nannies.)
  • You will then need to come up with a list of questions to ask them once the interview comes.  Make sure they have a good background, no criminal history, have experience with children, and see if they have good potential to become a nanny.
  • Once you come up with a list of questions, you will want to interview all the people interested in the job openings.  Try to get a good array of people that want babies, toddlers, children, young teenagers, etc.
  • Now, you need to find good insurance.  This insurance will cover all your business aspects.
  • Once you have insurance, you will need to apply for a  state license to start your business.
  • Once you’ve got those two, you will need to get a federal identification number.
  • Once you’ve got a great group of people, do background checks just to make sure you’re happy with everyone you’ve got.
  • Now, advertise your business to those that are looking for a nanny.  Once you get calls, find the best nanny for the children and situation.

Creating your own nanny business isn’t hard to do.  Once you get all the dirty work handled, and employees hired, you will just be looking for more and more people to send out your nannies to.  Eventually your business will grow even larger there will be more children, and more people to hire!
