If you want to build your credit as a business, and you’re having a hard time getting approved for a credit card, you may want to resort to a secured credit card.
What is a secured credit card you might ask?
These type of cards are different than your normal cards, because the bank is going to ask for a deposit, and this will act as your credit limit. The reason they are doing this is because you’re considered as a high risk to the companies. If you don’t pay off your bills, you will find that they will just dip into your deposit account. As time goes on, you will find that your score will go up, and you will be able to get the regular cards that you need for your business.
How do I find these cards for my business?
Finding these cards isn’t that hard, and should take very little research. When I’m approached on how to get one, I always recommend the following.
Check out our business credit card site: Since the market changes all the time, I can’t guarantee there will be one on our front page, but it’s worth a shot to look for one there.
Go to your local bank: Most of the time, your local bank may have a program that can work out for you, when you’re looking for a secured card. Go in, and ask to speak with someone in the business department. You can see what they can do for you from there.
Ask around online: The Internet is filled with great online resources such as forums, and more. If you’re having a hard time finding a website online, or the card that you want, you may want to just ask some people on a business forum. A lot of forums out there offer great advice on where you can find things that work for you, and your business.
Try these three tips when you’re looking to find a business credit card that’s built for bad credit. By applying these methods, you shouldn’t have a hard time at all finding what you need.
