What is a drop shipper?

If you’re new to this post, you’re probably wondering what a drop shipper is.  A drop shipper is basically a wholesale company that gets the product direct from the manufacture.  For example, if you wanted to sell Xbox 360′s, or PlayStation’s, you can directly go to Sony, but rather a legitimate drop shipper.  When you go to something like this, you will most likely have to buy in bulk, rather than one at a time.

• Ask another shop: A lot of business owners think that their competition is the devil, but this is far from the case.  As long as you’re not evading their turf, you will be fine.  Find a few Mom and Pop shops compared to your own, and head out to them one day, and speak with the owner yourself.  If you want, call them up, and offer to buy lunch to speak with them.  Ask them how business runs for them, and see how they get products, etc.
• Search the web: Sometimes, if you don’t want to go the membership route, you may have to just resort to a simple Google search.  Simply search for what you’re looking for, followed by “drop shipper”.  Your results may vary, and yes, there are a lot of scams out there, but browse through to see what you can find.
