Finding Cheap Online Advertising

Advertising doesn’t come cheap, and if you’re looking for cheap alternatives to advertise your business online, I wanted to give you some pointers that you can use in order to find the best advertisers that give you the best bang for your dollar.

Contact bloggers online: No matter what kind of business you’re going to run, there are going to be bloggers out there that are going to want to talk about it.  Find about 100 or so bloggers, and e-mail them all describing your products.  Tell them you want them to write about it.  In return, you can either pay them, give them a free gift, or some will even do it for free!  Don’t be discouraged though when you find many bloggers won’t e-mail you back.

Use PPC such as Adwords: PPC of aka pay per click is a great advertising platform that you can use if you’re looking to advertise on the major search engines such as Google, and Bing.  Many business owners have the assumption that its expensive to advertise on the search engines, but it really isn’t!   No matter what you’re offering, you can most likely get clicks for as low as .10-.20.  The best thing about this is that it’s targeted, and can draw a lot of customers.

Send out a press release: Press releases are a great way to get your business name, and product out there.  Sure, it may be a l0ng shot if you want to be noticed, but you never know if some media outlet is going to pick up your story.  Be sure to check out a post that I wrote about titled, “How to write a press release“.

Try social networking: Facebook, and Myspace both have great platforms that you can use when you’re looking to reach people in your demographic.  If you create a great ad, people will most likely click on it.  For example, if you’re looking for 35 year old men that love golf, you will be able to find them, it works great, and you can get cheap clicks as well.

These are all routes that you can take today that won’t cost you an arm, and leg.  Remember that it’s going to take money to make money, and as long as you work hard at promoting your business, and product, you shall succeed!
