Creating Your Own Business Card
When we start up our own small business, we want to get everything covered right from the beginning. We start to think about how we’re going to advertise, where are business will be located, who and how many people we’re going to employ, and what we want our business cards to look like.
If you’re thinking about getting business cards designed, you may want to draw out and design your own business card to make sure it’s exactly what you want. If you are capable of making your own, you’re one step ahead already. If not, not a problem, just still think about drawing out a design!
Style – First, think of how you want the style. It is usually recommended that you stick with something simple to make sure it’s not too much to absorb. Choose something that is nice just not too much.
Information – Think of all the information that you want on the business card. This means your name, e-mail, phone number, fax number, etc. This is all great contact information and can help you bring in more customers.
Logo – Do you already have a logo for your business? If so, be sure to put that on your card as well. If you do that, it will be easier to recognize by people.
Pictures – A lot of people use pictures of themselves on their business cards. If you want, get a picture taken and have that be put on your card as well.
Creating a business card can be a lot of fun, and is pretty exciting. You’ve gotten to the point where you have your own business, you’re getting things rolling, and now you just need those customers to find out about your business.
