Creating a Restaurant Flyer

734973_newHave you just opened up your own small business by creating a restaurant?  If so, congratulations!  A lot of people have the dream of opening up their own restaurant, but that’s as far as it ever goes.  The hardest part is opening it, and making it happen.  To make sure your business is a success, you need to make sure you advertise well.  Advertising is what makes people familiar with our new business, allows them to trust it, gives them the deals they want, and brings them in.  Advertising sure does a lot doesn’t it?  It’s by far the most important thing you can do for your restaurant.

You want to prove to your customers that your restaurant is one of the best ones out there, is the place they should go to get a great bite to eat, and is the one they should tell their friends and family about.

Although, for now lets start by getting people familiar with it.  You want everyone to be aware of your new restaurant, and a great way to make that happen is through flyers.  Flyers are great because they are inexpensive to make, easy to make, and you can really put them anywhere.  They may be important to make, but it is also important to have all the information you want on them.

What to put on your flyer:

  • Make sure you put the name of your restaurant.
  • Add a picture to make it more appealing, and easier to recognize.
  • Write the location, and how to get there. ( A map is always helpful)
  • Write what kind of food you have.  (A menu may help)
  • Write a little background information about the owner.
  • Also, write down what kind of specials you’re having for your grand opening.
  • Write down the name of your website.

A flyer is great because it allows people to read all this information for such a cheap price.  Pass out as many as you can, and a tip is to write a coupon on the flyer, (something like $2 off your meal if you present this flyer.)  This will give you a good idea how many people used and found the flyer.  Make sure you advertise, and if you create a flyer with all this information on it, you’ll be all set!
