Creating a Brochure for Your Business
Did you have a dream of creating your own business? This a dream many people have, yet it doesn’t go further than that. Whether you have experience in the business world or not, there are a few things that ever business owner should know, and always keep in mind. One of them is, advertising is everything. If no one knows about our business, guess how our business is going to run? Not very good. So, lets make everyone familiar with our business, let them know what it has to offer, and allow them to use us next time.
A great way to let everyone know about our business right from the beginning is by creating a business brochure. This is a fancy type of flyer that will inform our future customers about us. To create an effective brochure, there are a few things you must add.
- First, tell us about yourself.
- What is the name of your business and what does it specialize in?
- Why are you better than your competitors?
- What do you offer that your competitors don’t?
- Where are you located? It is a great idea to put a map with some directions to make it easier to find.
- Put a picture in your brochure that way people can recognize your business easier.
- Do you have any specials or deals that your first time customers can use to bring them in the door? If so, put this on your brochure!
- Put down all your contact information. This means your name, number, website, e-mail etc.
TIP: Make sure you know who your demographic is. This will help you find the audience you’re looking for, and will give you a better idea where to send out all your brochures.
Creating a business brochure can be a lot of fun. Just make sure you add all of these points, yet keep it simple. If it’s too crowded, people won’t want to read it. Also, use bullet points instead of paragraphs, people tend to find those easier to read as well.
