As a business owner, you’re going to realize that you’re going to need a lot of forms no matter what business you get into. For example, if you get into rentals, you’re going to need rental agreements and more. If you’re going to get into repair work, you’re going to need forms to help describe jobs, etc.
Regardless o f what forms you’re going to need, there are a lot of resources that you can use online to find what you need. I listed a couple below that you may want to look into to make your search a little easier.
#1 Amazon: Books are my best friend. The reason that I like books so much is that they have all the standard forms in the book for me. What I can do is simply make copies and have that as the master copy. You should be able to find a book that caters to your particular profession.
#2 BusinessFormTemplate: They have a lot of generic forms that you’re going to need in the near future. You can print each one out for free, or if you wish, you can download the whole collection for $20.
#3 Microsoft Office: If you have the newer version of Microsoft Office, you can download forms right onto your documents. The cool thing about the newer Microsoft Office is that it can search on the web for you for any updates that may occur.
#4 SCORE: Score is a great resource for more than just forms. SCORE helps over 20,000 businesses get on their feet each and every year. There are a lot of fantastic resources on the website.
#5 Your local office store: Places like Office Depot, as well as Office Max have forms that you can purchase there. Some are standard forms, while other packages have a little bit of everything. Check out your local store, or even their website to see if they have something that you can use.
By using some of these resources, you should be able to find the form that you’re looking for. You may find that you may want to create something up yourself if it’s unique, or if you wish, you can always take a standard form and tweak it to your satisfaction.
