Building Trust with your Business
When you start up a business or if you’re running one now, trust is one of the most important things that you can have when you relate with your customers. Without trust, how are you supposed to gain business? It’s going to be hard but there are things that you can do in order to build trust so that customers will come to you.
Be out there – let people know
The worst thing that you can do is hide behind legal talk and hidden fees. Instead, people love it when you are straight forward and tell them what your company is all about. Let them know exact pricing, don’t pressure them into things they don’t want to and also let them know what you and your company can do.
Always live up to your word
In the past, have you ever paid someone to do something and they didn’t come through? How did that feel? If you’re going to tell your customer that you can finish in 7 days, you better finish in that 7 days. Every time that you go over that deadline, the customer is going to become irritated and trust me, the word will spread fast about your business.
Give straight answers
One of the most important things that a business can have is customer service. With great customer service, you’ll find that people will come back because they know they will find what they are looking for. When a customer asks you a question, give them a straight answer. Let them know if you have it in stock and never lie or dance around questions, no one likes this at all.
Be out in the open
Have you ever seen a business that didn’t refund someone and they refuse to tell you why? If a customer has the answers to everything, he/she will feel more comfortable when it comes to doing business with you. Always make sure the customer knows about you and that you’re not hiding anything. If they have the assumption that you’re hiding something, you’re going to be in trouble.
By now, you should have a better understanding on how building trust works with your business. Without trust, you won’t have the customers. Be out in the open, let them know what you’re about and answer every question they may have. Doing this along can gain your business some credibility and allow you to grow your business to where you want it.
