Instead of searching for countless hours online, they do all of the dirty work for you. Let’s say that you want a wholesaler that specializes in Levi’s. What you’ll do is search through it on the search engine. From there, you’ll get reviews on the wholesaler, as well as comments on what other people think of the service. SaleHoo has saved me countless hours in searching for other wholesalers.
Call up the company direct: Again, if you don’t want to try something such as SaleHoo, that’s fine, but get ready for some long work. I don’t know what kind of clothing store that you want to sign up for, but write down a list of the brands that you want to sell. Again, let’s use the Levi example. Call up Levi’s, and ask how you can get a hold of a distributor. They will be more than welcomed to help seeing it’s people like you that gets the brand out there to the public.
Call up your competitors: Sounds like a stupid idea, but it really works. Now, you won’t want to call someone down the street, but rather call up someone that’s 50-75 miles away. Introduce yourself, and ask a few questions. Many business owners love to connect with other owners such as yourself. It’s going to be a win-win regardless.
