10 Phone Apps Every Entrepreneur Should Have

If you own a business today, it’s essential that you take advantage of all technology that is available to you.  Sure, many people just don’t like to adapt with change, but as they all say, “Change is always for the better.â€

I wanted to showcase some of the best applications today that you can download on any of the Android based phones.  If you don’t own one of these phones yet, you may want to consider one, because they have saved me a ton of time, as well as helped me on the road.  You’re also going to find that you can download a ton of these apps on the iPhone as well.

#1 Documents to Go: Documents to go is a paid application but it’s amazing.  You can view and edit any Microsoft Office application.  From Word to Powerpoint, this is a fantastic application to have on the go.

#2 GDocs: If you have a Google account, there may be a good chance that you have messed around with Google documents.  With GDocs, you’re able to view, edit, and take your Google documents anywhere you go.

#3 Cashbook: If you want to keep track of your expenses and you only have your accounting software on your laptop or desktop, this application is going to be able to track all of your business expense on the go.

#4 Google Maps: The thing I liked about the Droid was that you’re able to use it’s free GPS.  Google maps are amazing on the phone.  You can find local establishments, as well as get directions to any address that you input.

#5 VNC: If you want to manage your desktop from your phone, the VNC viewer is great.  You’re going to be able to control your desktop right from your phone.

#6 Scan2PDF: Every have a document but you want it in PDF form?  This application is going to allow you to snap a picture of the document and it’s going to convert it to a PDF format.  This is a paid app, but many find it well worth it!

#7 Voice Text: Let’s say that you want to take some notes and you don’t want to use the little keyboard.  I don’t blame you on this one.  With Voice Text, you can dictate into your phone and it will convert it into text on applications such as Documents To Go and more.

#8 ServerUP: I like this one because I make most of my money via website ventures.  If you want to keep track of your servers, this application will notify you every time your servers are down.

#9 mShare: If you need to share files, you’re able to transfer files from either your phone to another phone, or your phone to your desktop.

#10 PDANet: This is by far one of my favorites.  You’re going to be able to tether your phone to create an Internet connection.  Hook your phone up to your laptop and you can surf the web.  It’s great for those hotels that charge you for Internet access or even on the road.
